Quotables

  • We want folks to be able to care for their families, as well as provide for their faith.
  • It’s not about raising money. It’s not about a particular project that you’re going for. This is about stewardship for you and for your people. And so, what ends up happening is Kingdom causes get benefited greatly.
  • PhilanthroCorp (http://www.aboutplannedgiving.com/page/planned-giving-for-churches)
  • One of the things I always like to tell people is, you are leaving a legacy… So, why not be intentional about it.
  • We have nine percent of our wealth in a little jar and ninety-one percent in a big jar. We give our tithes out of the little jar. We never even broach the big jar. Ninety-six percent of all given to the Evangelical Church comes from the little jar. So, if only four percent comes from the little jar, imagine what we could do if we just started tithing from the big jar.
  • So, I would just encourage anybody, take that load off of your family members. Take that load off of the next generation. And, not only get your plan in place, but share it. Because that has a great effect on other people, and it just sort of has a way of perpetuating generosity.
